Flying Fact For the Week:
This is a flight simulator. It is a device that recreates the aircraft and its environment in order to simulate it’s behavior, understand how the aircraft’s systems work and how external forces such as air density, weather conditions, and turbulence affects the flight. A full motion simulator is used to train pilots. It’s especially useful for a pilot training before switching to a new aircraft. There are 2 main types. The PC-based is a software program that can be installed on a computer. It recreates the aircraft systems. A full cockpit allows the user to get familiar with a specific type of aircraft. Like I’ve said before, a lot goes into preparing us to fly you around our (mostly) friendly skies!
-This is your pilot Captain Laura. Thanks for flying š
