UPDATE: First week of December 2017
I would like to thank everyone for being here and for your intro posts! So many unique and interesting life experiences! I enjoyed reading them as I’m sure other members did as well.

I think I’ve done a good job so far of attracting enthusiastic/experienced people who are into aviation. I will be coming up with a streamlined way for the members of The Google+ Aviation Guild (you) to invite new members to join. At the end of this post… I have a question I’d like you to answer related to inviting people to this Community.

Polls
Pete Panozzo started the ball rolling with polls and Jesse Lopez followed up with his own poll. The direction I hope to steer The Google+ Aviation Guild Community in is a community for discussion related to the topic of aviation. I would rather it not turn into photo post after photo post that does little to start/contribute to the discussion.

For that reason, I think polls provide a unique opportunity to start a conversation. As an example of how we could maybe better utilize polls, let’s take the text Jesse used for his poll: Are you a propeller lover or a jet lover

Instead use: Are you a propeller lover or a jet lover? In the comments below, I’d be interested in why you pick what you picked.

What I’d like to see more of
Any post that attempts to start a conversation about the topic of aviation. It may be a story/experience, a question, related to a project you’ve been working on etc…
