Today I was saddened to hear the news of David Thatcher‘s passing. Though I never met him; it feels like I have.

Many of us have at least heard of the heroics of The Doolittle Raiders. The Doolittle Raiders were the first to take an offensive action against the Japanese homeland. Thus providing a much-needed morale booster for the USA and its allies.

RIP David, you are among the greatest of the greatest generation.
