A Republic P-47D-30-RE of Maj. Glenn T. Eagleston. His aircraft had one of the more distinctive motifs. The Eagle, of course, was Eagleston’s personal marking, the winged-skull and yellow cowl were symbolic of the 353rd Fighter Squadron. Eagleston served his nation once again during the Korean War.
