“Boom” Powell about to touch down in the Military Aviation Museum’s De Havilland Chipmunk. This Chipmunk’s markings are those of No. 663 Squadron, whose duty was as an Air Observation Post or artillery spotter, hence the squadron motto, “We Fly For The Guns.”
