The North American Aviation Company’s T-28 Trojan was flown for the first time on September 24, 1949. The T-28 was a training aircraft used by the US Air Force and Navy.

My photo, taken at Air Power Over Hampton Roads 2011 airshow at Langley AFB, is a T-28C flown by Jack ‘Flash’ Mangan with the Trojan Horsemen Demonstration Team. http://bit.ly/1bSTBQ9 The aircraft and Flash were lost in a crash later in the year during an airshow in Martinsburg, West Virginia.
