The Forgotten History of North American Aviation in Dallas
This presentation is a must watch! A few of the many mind boggling facts that was shared were: The Dallas North American plant had more than 2 million square feet and was all air conditioned. During the war the plant manufactured 18,000 aircraft and at peak production was rolling an aircraft of the production line every hour.
The CAF is looking for historical artifacts from this plant and any additional facts on the Dallar North American Aircraft plant. There isn’t much out there on this plant.
