I’m spending my Sunday afternoon going through comments from the past week and scheduling posts for the upcoming week. How are you spending your Sunday?

One thing I have taken particular note of is all the wonderful conversations that are happening in the comments section of posts in my absence! Thank You! I really love seeing that!

I have been hard at work on a new project that will complement GSTV. Because of this new project, I have found that the weekend is the best time for me to catch up on comments and to prep the This Day in Aviation History posts for the upcoming week.

The way notifications work, especially for pages that receive high volumes of engagement, are “penalized” for checking notifications frequently. I’ve been in contact with Google+ asking for the ability to sort notifications so I can just see comments or +mentions. I wanted to be transparent with you all as to what is going on and if there is anything urgent that you’d like to bring my attention to, please +mention John Chvatal.

As you’ve probably become accustomed to seeing the This Day in Aviation History posts going live between 7:30 and 8:00 pm Central; I thought I’d try to be present to respond to the comments that are posted in the following half hour or so after the post goes live. So, the best way to be notified when the post goes live is to turn on notifications for the This Day in Aviation History Collection.

As always, thank you for being a part of the Gazing Skyward Community!
