Fw-190D-9 flown by Luftwaffe ace Josef “Pips” Priller on the 1st January 1945 during Operation Bodenplatte. Of note is his personal “Ace of Hearts” symbol with the name “Jutta”. Priller scored all of his 101 victories on the Western Front, including 11 USAAF heavy bombers, 68 Spitfires (more than any other Luftwaffe pilot), 11 Hurricanes, 5 medium bombers and 5 USAAF fighters.
