The trick to surviving Oshkosh 2018 is to find shade where ever you can. I sat here for maybe 2 hours (between the south end of the runway 18/36 and the ultralight field) and watched the Rwy 36 arrivals and departures on one side and the ulltralights and micro helicopters on the other side.
