Movies Tv Shows are so fake
Just finished watching season 8 episode 8 of the new Hawaii 5-0. It was PAINFUL to say the least! I’ll spare you all the details but on the race aircraft that crashed, the NTSB hadn’t accounted for the “trim tab” at which Steve points to the vertical stabilizer that is missing the rudder. Clearly inferring the “trim tab” was the rudder. The NTSB guy didn’t correct Steve.
In the end, Steve wound up racing in a backup aircraft of the same type. How could a guy get so messed up and believe the rudder is a “trim tab” yet go on to fly an airplane in that same episode? I guess the saying… “happens only in the movies” still holds true. Sigh…
