A colour image of an Iraqi Bf-109 E-7. During the Iraqi Rebellion against the British in 1941 Germany sent aircraft to support the uprising, called Fligerfürher Irak. These included Bf-109s and He-111s. Most of these were quickly shot down or captured by the British.
