A colourised photograph of a D4Y3 of the 701st Kokutai flown by Yoshnori Yamaguchi moments before it crashed into the USS Essex on November 25th 1944 during a Kamikaze attack. The explosion started a fire that killed 15 and wounded 44. However, the Essex returned to service two weeks later.
