Hacking Attempt
I’ve had my hands full since Sunday. I woke up Sunday morning to find that the Gazing Skyward TV website was under a brute force attack. So instead of catching up on things, I spent the whole day working to secure the website.

Ever since I’ve been working to get back on track. The hackers are still probing for vulnerabilities as of this evening when I last checked. At this point, short of pulling down the website, I’m closely monitoring the situation.

Weekly Collection Feature Update
I’ve been so behind on everything because of the hacking attempt… I will be selecting several of member’s Collections that are shared to the Your Aviation Collections. I will then be putting up a poll asking the members to vote on which one they’d like to see featured on the Gazing Skyward TV page.

What Should I Consider Writing About
I’ve been presented with a potential opportunity through Google+ Create to write short pieces on things I’m passionate about. Of course, my pick would be aviation. I could share a personal story related to aviation but I’d rather it be educational.

Think about the general public who may have never met a pilot or flown in an airplane. That would be my audience. So nothing very technical but more inspirational. Maybe a fun fact. I don’t necessarily expect the posts to be longer than several paragraphs.

I don’t know the specifics on what is expected other than writing about what interests me. I’ll be having a meeting early March. So I will know more then… but I wanted to come prepared with some ideas. So… what would you write about if you were in my situation?
