I’d like to hear your opinion.

Now that I have an airplane I can use for flight training, the last thing I need for sure is money to cover the renting of the airplane and for ground school and basic supplies. I have yet to ask my cousin if he’d teach me but I think he’d find a way to fit me in. I will be doing a website for him in the near future. So a straight up trade may work.

I haven’t revealed this to many people so please don’t share this with anyone outside of this community but I am working on some premium features for The Flying Cloud that will be available for a yearly subscription. So that is one potential new source of income.

Another thing which I thought of today and what I wanted to hear your opinion on is Patreon. This would allow the Gazing Skyward TV community to support me in achieving this goal and potentially other goals in the future. I do have a GoPro camera and audio recorder. So I could record some video clips from the flights for Patron only viewing. Give advanced viewing of posts that I’d put up on social media that are summaries of training flights and answer people’s questions.

Maybe there are other things that I could do to make things as interactive as possible?

Maybe this is a crazy idea… It is in my nature that I find it uncomfortable asking for money or for help. So I’d love to hear your thoughts…
