This collection showcases my favorite aircraft of all, the F4U Corsair! It is an amazing aircraft with a rich history spanning WWII, Korea, and the so-called South American “Soccer War”! It’s distinctive gull wing design makes it an iconic aircraft that, during WWII, came to be known as “Whistling Death” by Japanese aviators that faced it.
