9/11 – We Will Never Forget

9/11 was the first national tragedy where I remember exactly where I was when these terror attacks happened. I was at the local community center either swimming or ice skating. Can’t remember which. When I got to the lobby area, there was a TV cart there, which I found very odd. The TV was tuned to a news broadcast (probably CNN) about the terror attacks. There couldn’t have been more than two attacks that had taken place up til that point because I remember hearing about another when I arrived home.

The rest of the afternoon was spent watching the news channels. Since I was 13 years old, I understood how tragic this event was for my fellow Americans.
