Preflighting a plane you’ve preflighted a hundred or more times before is one of the hardest things in aviation.
You have to have an active eye, and an open mind. It’s so easy to look and not see. Done well, you will notice new things every time. But too many times I’ve done the walk around and wondered what I really saw.
